Job Corps
As a part of our domestic programming, CDP has partnered with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program, to enhance their culinary curriculum by incorporating cultural engagement and education. Job Corps is a federally funded national program that trains at-risk youth from underserved communities, ages 16-24, in residential and non-residential settings.
CDP will also create a mentorship and hiring pipeline, giving our chefs more of a role in shaping and then hiring our students. With unique learning opportunities and industry relationship building, our goal is for our graduates to be more competitive in the culinary industry workforce upon program completion.
